Parker Eisengruber - Men's Track and Field
Parker Eisengruber (Heritage HS // Saginaw, Mich.) was a top competitor for the SVSU Track and Field Team as he posted a new SVSU Fieldhouse record in the one mile run, after running a 4:10.84 in the Doug Hansen Open Friday (Jan. 19) evening. According to ttfrs.com, Eisengruber is #13 in the nation in the one mile run.
The Cardinals will host the annual Jet's Pizza two-day invitational this weekend (Jan. 26-27) in the SVSU Fieldhouse.
Wilhelmina Francisco — Women's Swim and Dive
Senior Diver Wilhelmina Francisco (Chelsea, Mich.) set a new program record of 299.20 in the 3 meter diving event, finishing 1st. She added another 1st place showing in the 1 meter dive with a 238.85. This was Francisco's first time this year taking a first place finish.
The Lady Cards will be off until the GLIAC Championships which will begin on Valentines Day (Feb. 14) at Jenison High School.
